Toddler Crafts

Construction Paper “Collage”

Happy first day of October! This month I will be sharing several Fall craft ideas to do with toddlers. The one I am sharing today is a construction paper collage. This one is very easy and doesn’t require many materials!

You will need:
A shape to fill – we did a pumpkin!
Construction paper
Glue stick
Other embellishments you may have on hand – glitter glue, confetti, etc.

I printed a clipart picture of a pumpkin and then gave my daughter a pile of torn construction paper scraps. She then glued them on to the pumpkin, overlapping in places to make a “collage”. (This is a great opportunity to teach your toddler how to properly use a glue stick!) Then I cut the pumpkin out, glued it onto another piece of paper, and let her add glitter for some pizzazz. 😊 We made a general Fall pumpkin, as well as a Halloween pumpkin!
